Kinkaku-ji (Temple of the Golden Pavilion)

Kinkaku-ji, a well-known temple in Kyoto, was the next stop on our tour of Osaka and Kyoto.  The temple is located in a beautiful garden and the top two stories are covered in pure gold leaf.

Osaka Aquarium :||: Part 2

The final exhibit at the Osaka Aquarium were the ‘floating jellyfish’.  The tanks have an amazing blue color and the lighting was very unique.  Enjoy the photos!  (The color in the photos was not enhanced…this is just how bright it was!)

Osaka Aquarium :||: Part 1

A few weeks ago, a long-time friend of Shawn’s made his 2nd trip to visit us in Japan.  We took the Shinkansen to Osaka and Kyoto and enjoyed the sites!

Our first stop was the Osaka Aquarium.  The weather was unpredictable that day, so the aquarium was the perfect solution to avoid the rain.
