As we were walking to the next temple, we were all wondering if we would see any Geisha. Ironically, just a few seconds later…our question was answered. I wasn’t prepared to take pictures (and felt awkward doing so), but I captured a little something!

Kinkaku-ji, a well-known temple in Kyoto, was the next stop on our tour of Osaka and Kyoto. The temple is located in a beautiful garden and the top two stories are covered in pure gold leaf.

The final exhibit at the Osaka Aquarium were the ‘floating jellyfish’. The tanks have an amazing blue color and the lighting was very unique. Enjoy the photos! (The color in the photos was not enhanced…this is just how bright it was!)
A few weeks ago, a long-time friend of Shawn’s made his 2nd trip to visit us in Japan. We took the Shinkansen to Osaka and Kyoto and enjoyed the sites!
