Family Photos in Shinjuku

I always enjoy the different locations families select for their photo sessions.  Tami was looking to capture the real essence of Tokyo, so we decided to spend our time roaming the streets of Shinjuku.

Rather than start off in the middle of the chaos, we decided to capture a few memories which were slightly more peaceful. :)

I love the look on the old man’s face and how Kjerstin appears to be looking at him!!

It was time to head into the chaos….and Kjerstin was definitely excited!!!

Kjerstin definitely knows how to work it for the paparazzi… :)

Does it get any better than a 2-year old…standing in the middle of Shinjuku…while holding her favorite blankie?  It was so entertaining watching people clear out of the way while I captured these shots.

When Kjerstin is older, I think it will be fun for her to look back on these memories.  Like the next one…which I love!

We had several good laughs throughout the afternoon…I just have to share a few more of the candid moments.

I am still trying to figure out what was on the inside of Erik’s jacket? :)

I think Kjerstin was trying to show me her ‘poker face’.  It didn’t work out too well…
