Remembering Tokyo with Family Photos

Over the past few years, I have had the joy of getting to know Abby, Jason and Deacon.  I was fortunate enough to capture memories  while Abby was pregnant with Deacon, as well as photos last fall of the entire family.  This summer, the family said goodbye to Tokyo and moved back to the U.S.  I couldn’t let them escape without one final photo session to remember their time in Tokyo!  Abby, Jason, Deacon, and I had a great time spending the afternoon in the Jiyugaoka area of Tokyo.

This is definitely one of my favorite photos from the entire session!  I would love to have this photo as a huge print hanging on the wall! :)

I laugh every time I look at the photo on the right.  Deacon’s face…combined with Jason dipping Abby in the background is priceless!   It’s almost as though Deacon is thinking, “Ehhh…what is going on back there?” :)

Another favorite…

“Hey mom and dad, I appreciate the kisses…but I’ve had e-n-o-u-g-h!  Back off!” :)

Dogs, dogs, dogs….dogs everywhere in Tokyo!

We didn’t plan this shot at all.  We were just walking down the street when we saw the delivery truck…Abby pulled out Deacon’s mini version and we grabbed a quick photo before the truck sped off.  Believe me, these delivery people are fast!  They are constantly running around Tokyo delivering packages.  (And I mean it when I say running!)

I love how you can see Deacon’s little teeth!

Farewell my friends!  You will be missed, but I look forward to hearing about your new adventures as you begin a new chapter of your lives in the U.S.  Thank you for the memories…thanks for the laughs…

…and yes, life is always better when you have a little kick in your step! :)
