About Me…

Three years ago, my husband and I packed our bags and moved to Tokyo, Japan for the opportunity of a lifetime. This blog has been a way for us to document our journey and share our experiences with family and friends across the globe.

During our time in Japan, we have been working, studying for our MBAs, and enjoying life in a completely new culture. We are constantly learning new things and feel blessed to have this experience!

Neve’s 1st Birthday in Tokyo!

After I completed the session with the entire family, my next focus was solely on the birthday girl!

What you can’t see in this photo is the wall of glass windows on the left side of the frame. Juliette had a great idea…she went outside and surprised Neve from the other side of the glass windows. I love Neve’s reaction to seeing her mom!

The dress Neve is wearing was also worn by her sisters for their 1st year portraits. In addition, Juliette’s mother has a tradition of giving each of the girls a personalized bracelet, which was the perfect accessory for the dress.
