Enoshima – Part 1

Enoshima is a small island located approximately 1 hour south of Tokyo (by train).  Enoshima is one of the closest beaches to Tokyo, so it is a popular destination for surfing and sailing in the summer.  Mt. Fuji can been seen from Enoshima on a clear day, but unfortunately the sky was cloudy when we visited.

Everywhere you go in Japan, the sewer covers always have a unique pattern on them.  It was nice to see the painted covers in Enoshima…
