We brought a camera with us on our run this morning…
I think it’s rare to see this much snow falling in Tokyo. We tried to stay as far away from the streets as possible…I can only imagine how comfortable people are driving in the snow here!

How on earth do you run with a camera?
It’s probably snowing just for you guys. The angels don’t want you to forget about what you left behind! I assume it wasn’t too slick and you had enough traction.
Thanks Shelley! We just brought a small point-and-shoot digital camera with us. It’s a perfect size to hold in your hand. I’m trying to imagine someone running with all the gear you have! I think they would have to create a new Olympic sport for that! 
Hi Mom – I don’t believe there are any plows in Tokyo, so it turned out to be a fairly sloppy run…but we enjoyed it! The motor-bikes/mopeds/scooters were the most entertaining to watch. They are definitely not built to drive through the snow!
Shawn, It looks like you need windshield wipers for your glasses. Beth, All of the pictures are fabulous and we are enjoying them. Good luck to both of youon you marathon. We will be thinking of you.
