Good luck to everyone running the Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday, October 7!

Coincidentally, Shawn and I both received an e-mail at 6:00pm TODAY that looked something like this…

“Dear Sir or Madam – Congratulations! You have been selected to run the 2008 Tokyo Marathon…”

We are very excited and surprised to (both) get accepted into the race!

Know why?

Total Number of Applicants: 130,062
Available Spots: 25,000

I wonder if they rigged it to allow the foreigners to get in!?

Below is a photo from the 2007 race. This guy must be from Wisconsin?:)Maybe we’ll have Shawn dress up like this to represent the pride of his home state!

Patrick - Beth, Because we’ve been so busy keeping this house absolutely spotless, this is the first chance that we’ve had to look at the blog in detail. Very nice architectural pictures. The shot with Shawn standing next to the dummy: he used to do stuff like that back in eigth grade before we got him on med’s., tell him to behave or we’ll send over a collar that Louis isn’t using that you can use to control him with. I hope you’re starting to feel comfortable, let me know if you need anything.

Hmmm…Seeing “Louis” and “house absolutely spotless” mentioned in the same comment has me suspicious… :)
